If you took out $5,000 in financial aid, and used $3,000 for school, then the school will deposit the remaining $2,000 in your higher one account. WebThe first refund payments for Spring 2024 will be sent electronically to BankMobile on January 24, 2024. Students whose lenders send only paper checks must come to the cashier's section to endorse those checks beginning January 25, 2024. All subsequent refunds will be sent electronically to BankMobile weekly beginning on January 30, 2024.

I've been receiving lots and lots of emails from HigherOne telling me that I have a $960.25 refund, and I presume that that amount should be paid back to my lender for the cancelled unsubsidized loan because I have a charge due for $960.00.
