I like when there is a cutout at the front of the rail, such that the side/bottom continue to the front of the sight, but don't come back together in front of it. However, I don't like the ones that come back together and continue as a full rail forward of the sight. For example, I like the Mk18 FSB, but not the RIS II FSB.
