Webbamberdamberzorro • 1 yr. ago. I prefer small firms because there’s less policy and procedure, more flexibility. In big firms I had to talk to 8 people to get approval to file one document. I can see how a lot people would prefer the procedure for every action though, I think it’s a personality thing. WebbHowever, for a law firm to be considered “boutique”, it generally has to be small. In most cases, there will only be between five and twenty members of staff working at the firm, including attorneys, paralegals, and law clerks.
